Theresa Zanon

Theresa Zanon is a queer singer-songwriter from Berlin whose songs (e.g. Im Bunten Berlin, My Reality etc) are characteristic for their resistance against homo – & transphobia.

Lyrically as well as with her online presence Theresa Zanon wants to represent more lesbian and queer visibility in pop culture and create a certain bond for the people of our community with her music.

Earl Gay

The music he plays is as versatile as Earl Gay. Genrefluid & Genderfluid, this DJ mixes his way through the decades of music history and has every queer banger worth shaking a leg to. He’ll spill your favorite songs on the dancefloor. Be careful, the tea is freshly brewed.

Laiz

Transdisciplinary artist Laiz was born in the city of Jundiaí in the state of São Paulo in 1999 and relocated to Germany in 2019, where she made her mark on the Berlin jazz scene by blending Latin, jazz, and Afrobeat with Brazilian hip-hop. Laiz’s debut double LP with The New Love Experience “Ela Partiu” is set to be unveiled in May 2024. Laíz aims with her music to bring the Sun of the South and the São Paulo Urban culture to the jazz and Hip-Hop scnene in Europe. Blending multiple genres with political and cultural messages of Latino America.

Workshop

Sewing with Ama

Amaluma is a Berlin based sustainable brand crafting unique upcycled bags and offering upcycling workshops designed to empower her community through learning and skills sharing. The “Fashion Cure” is a safe place to experiment with upcycling in a fun way.

During the “Knotty Bags” Workshop, craft your trendy bag in a beginner-friendly session. And go home with your amazing creation. Materials and sewing machines are provided. But feel free to bring fabrics or clothes that will make your piece even more unique


Dancing with Doris

A dance workshop by 2 drag artists from Paris: Androkill, cabaret singer and heels & contemporary dancer with Charlie d’Emilio, electro dancer & drag king.

We will teach you a small choreography, which style will be a collab of our 2 physicalities (mix of electro/contempo). Sharing how to be confident in your dance performance and finding your energy, your balance, your musicality.

Comfy Dance

Doris Lingenau started dancing at the age of 6 years. Since then she has gathered a lot of experience in Contempary Dance as well as Classical Ballet, Modern Dance and various Urban Dance Styles. In the summer of 2023 she acquired her degree in Performance art and Dance education at “Dance Professional Mannheim”. From there on she has been freelancing as a dance teacher and has also worked different with choreographers like Luches Huddleston Jr., Sade Mademova, Darja Reznikova, Rafael Valdivieso etc. and performed their pieces in theaters around Mannheim, Heidelberg and Karlsruhe


Yoga with Maren

Maren (she/her) is a Dance, Pilates and (Jivamukti) Yoga Teacher. She is following her passion as a teacher since 2016. Maren studied Dance in Hamburg and did several Yoga Teacher Trainings. Now she has found her purpose in the Jivamukti Yoga method. She loves to teach with dedication and to give her students a feeling of security and empowerment.

The festival’s Yoga is an open level Jivamukti Class. Whether you are a newbie or you do Yoga regularly, feel welcome to join 🙂

STAND UP

Marie Harnau

Marie Harnau is a Stand up Comedian based in Berlin. They perform in both English and German and work through personal stories about dating experiences on graveyards to absurd family situations in their comedy. They also host the regular FLINTA* Comedy Open Mic “Kaktus Comedy.”

Jin Jason

Jin Jason is a queer screenwriter from Berlin. Ever since Jin can remember, Jin has felt and used their urge to tell stories, whether for film, video games, the stage, or a private notebook. Words in every form flow out of Jin. Jin’s texts range from funny and light to angry and critical. On comedy stages, Jin loves to juggle it all at once.

Miky Burch

Miky Burch is a comedian and writer from Detroit. Her goofy, expressive and vulgar style of comedy will catch your attention and have you laughing your ass off over this twisted existence we call life. She has performed all over Europe, the US and Canada and is the founder of the Cunnilingus Show, a monthly queer comedy game show held at Boom Chicago in Amsterdam.

Kat Nip

Kat is a Polish stand-up comedian based in Berlin. Her energetic, fast-paced storytelling is jam-packed with unexpected punchlines, brutal honesty and a sprinkle of Eastern European pizzazz. Buckle up, it’s a rollercoaster! Kat also hosts and produces shows in Berlin with her female collective “Queen Bees Comedy”.

From Sweden, we have the Chairperson from Lesbisk Makt, a vibrant organisation uniting queers through camps, breakfasts, literary salons and more.

Alice Coffin

Alice Coffin is a lesbian and feminist activist, author of Le Génie Lesbien published in 2020, Councilor of Paris ecologist, and member of the Culture Commission of the City of Paris. She is co-founder of the Observatory of VSS in Politics, EL*C (Eurocentralasian Lesbian Community) and the Association of LGBTI Journalists.

Silvia Casalino

Silvia Casalino is a lesbian activist, university teacher and filmmaker, with a masters degree in Space Engineering. She previously worked as project manager for the French Space Agency, and in 2011, she directed her first documentary film, No Gravity, addressing the journey of women in space technology. In 2017 she co-created the EL*C, and is currently the EL*C international NGO Executive Co-Director.

Sophie Cut

Born and raised in Hamburg, sophie cut discovered her passion for electronic music in Berlin at the age of 19. However, she learnt to dj years later during the pandemic. Her energy-driven style is characterized by groovy techno and trance, with a love for acid basslines, kinky vocals and influences from other genres – mostly rap, funk and pop. In 2023 she founded the queerfeminist   @lola.kollektiv together with   @hotfriedricecracker &   @zoali_bubblegun to promote underrepresented artists & genres, and to host their own parties.

Charlie d’Emilio

Androkill (she/her) is a multidisciplinary trans artist. She combines voice and movement to transport you into her universe in which she kills the patriarchy with rage and glitter by shouting her commitments loud and clear. She will not fail to make you shiver from the top of her heels. Creature of the night, she is a cabaret artist and dancer-choreographer-performer for companies and artists.
Her crystalline voice and dreamlike movements will transport you. But be careful, if you looking for trouble you’ll find it…

Androkill

Charlie d’Emilio (he/him) is one the most popular drag king of his generation in the Parisian drag scene. Electro dancer, contortionist, passionate singer… he’s a multi-talented queer performer and will charm you with his poetry and performances that are as emotional as they are flamboyant. With a glam and androgynous look, he’s working with many artists, to tiny cabarets stages to huge DJ stages or concerts halls and museums, Charlie is now creating a play alone on stage.

Wiktoria

Wiktoria is a fashion designer who specializes in making clothes for people who want to add some color and extravagance into their everyday outfits. She is taking her inspiration from things that are labeled as weird and unusual, while trying to make everyone who is wearing her clothes feel, like they are the main character.

Stand Up with Marie Harnau

Do your friends keep telling you your funny? Even if they don’t, join this Stand Up Comedy Workshop with Marie Harnau because anyone can crack a joke. This workshop looks at basic joke structure, what it means to be funny plus authentic and emphasizes the importance of queer voices in Comedy.

Our vision is to create a future where BIPoCQT creators and artists can cultivate an archive through creative gatherings with an emphasis on collective care and recognition. We aim to facilitate an inclusive cultural discourse that engages local BIPoCQT communities in reimagining and reshaping dominant social narratives.

This session will be hosted by Iromie (she/her) who is a part of Diaspora Kollektiv. She is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist specializing in drawing, illustration and painting. Her work is tightly connected to themes such as queerness, femininity, vulnerability and strength – seen from a queer Sri Lankan woman’s perspective. Her work has been displayed at Baba Bar and in collaboration with Pride Art Norway, and currently she’s exhibiting at Gamle Munchmuseet, Oslo.

STAND UP

Fay Walsh

Fay is a raging lesbian, occasional leg shaving feminist and a funny “female” comedian. Hailing from Britain and Germany, she’s ferociously unapologetic and brutally honest. She appeared on and wrote for Comedy Central and is one of the organisers of the annual Berlin New Stand Up Awards. She also performs and hosts at a variety of shows in Berlin. 

Lui Beca

Lui Beca’s stand up is adorably awkward, heart-warmingly genuine and full of unexpected punchlines. A fresh perspective on Gen-Z LGBTQ+ identity faced with growing up in a conservative family in Eastern Europe; sprinkled with tales of immigrating to Berlin and finding her feet as a young adult in the era of political and environmental uncertainty. You’ll laugh, cry and want to become her best friend after!

Navigating Power in Queer Berlin

Monica Gutierrez & Hassandra

From Critical Queer Solidarity we welcome: Hassandra (they/them) is a Lebanese Berlin-based multidisciplinary artist, DJ, MUA and event producer. Hassandra’s artistic explorations deal with themes such as migration, nostalgia, and the body as a queer living archive. Hassandra is the co-founder of Critical Queer Solidarity, ADIRA Party and ADIRA Drag Festival, the first Arab* drag festival. Additionally, they co-host the Baby, I’m Home! Podcast with Monica Gutierrez. In 2019, Hassandra won the title of Mx. Kotti Pageant, and since then, they have performed in numerous theatre and film productions.

Moderating the talk we have Monica Gutierrez (she/her) , a US American, Berlin-based writer, cultural researcher and trainer. As a writer and researcher, she explores themes and histories of queer-colonial intersections, migration and the spread of disease. As a trainer she’s given seminars on decolonizing practices, intercultural communication and antiracist practices. She’s a member of Critical Queer Solidarity. 

Dani Figueiredo

Dani Figueiredo (they/them) is a community organizer and activist for migrant rights and ally in the fight for the decriminalization of sex work and destigmatization of sex workers. Member and Co-founder of SWAG (sex worker action group Berlin) and member of the project Trans*sexworks.

TJ

TJ (they/them or no pronouns) is a social worker, photographer, trans* and much more. As social worker, they worked with unaccompanied minor refugees in different places and now in a youth center, trying to raise awareness and create a safer space for queer youth and young people. Beyond their social work, TJ is a passionate photographer, capturing stories and moments through their lens: In queer spaces, from the Queer Antifa Tattoo Convention, to some slots at the xposed queer film festival, and this year’s TIN* Pride in Berlin. They are also an active participant at the Butch*Walk.
